Sarees Rooted in Craft — The Naariyaan Saree Collection

A saree is never just a saree. It is six yards of history, of craft, of a woman who knew exactly how to carry herself. Our handcrafted Ajrak block print sarees are sourced directly from Rajasthani artisans — breathable, beautifully made, and built to be worn, not just stored.

Naariyaan | New Collection Launch | June 2026

A saree is never just a saree.

It is six yards of history. Of craft passed down through generations. Of a woman who knew exactly how to carry herself. At Naariyaan, we source our sarees with this belief at the centre — that every piece you drape should carry meaning, quality, and a story worth telling.

Our Saree Philosophy

We work directly with artisans based in Rajasthan — weavers, block printers, and craftspeople who have spent years perfecting their technique. By cutting out middlemen, we ensure two things: fair value for the artisan and honest pricing for you.

Every saree in our collection is handpicked. We do not list anything we would not wear ourselves.

What Makes Our Sarees Special

Our current saree collection is anchored in the Ajrak block print tradition — one of India’s oldest and most celebrated resist-printing crafts, originating from the Sindhi and Kutchi communities of Rajasthan. The geometric and floral motifs are stamped by hand using carved wooden blocks and natural dyes, creating patterns that are never perfectly identical — because no two handcrafted pieces ever are.

Our Indigo Ajrak Linen Cotton Sarees are the heart of the collection. Navy blue bases with red and white floral butti prints, bold red borders, and shimmering silver zari accents. The linen cotton blend makes them breathable, moisture-wicking, and lightweight — built for the Indian climate and the Indian woman’s schedule.

Each saree comes with an unstitched blouse piece (6.25 to 6.50 metres), giving you the freedom to personalise the fit, neckline, and sleeve style. Pair with one of our blouses for a complete, curated look.

Style Notes

Pair an Ajrak saree with oxidised silver earrings and kolhapuri chappals for a traditional look. Or dress it up with a silk blouse and statement jhumkas for a festive evening. The versatility of a handcrafted saree is unmatched — it takes colour from its surroundings and gives back elegance.

Care

Gentle hand wash or dry clean. Store folded in muslin. Keep away from direct sunlight to preserve the indigo depth and zari sheen.

Six yards. One story. All yours.
